Important Information About Your Home Improvement Loan

Beginning March 2, 2026, DOCFCU is updating how Home Improvement Loans are serviced by transitioning these loans to a dedicated Home Improvement Loan servicing department. This update allows DOCFCU to provide a dedicated servicing team and enhanced support, while remaining responsible for your loan. Your loan terms and payment schedule are not changing. However, you will notice a few updates to how you view your loan details and access statements and support.

Below is a quick overview of what’s staying the same, what’s changing and answers to common questions about what to expect. 

What's staying the same

  • Your interest rate and loan terms
  • Your monthly payment amount and due date
  • Automatic payments will continue as scheduled—no action needed

What's Changing

  • Loan details in DOCFCU Online Banking will be condensed
  • Full loan details and statements move to a new loan portal
  • You’ll have access to a dedicated support team specific to your loan.

  • View full loan details

First‑Time Login: How to Access Your Loan Portal

To access your Home Improvement loan in the portal for the first time, you will log in using your full 10‑digit account number and your Loan ID.

How to Format Your Login ID

Your login ID must follow this format:

[Your 6 to 9‑digit Member Number] – [Loan ID]

  • If your member number is 6–9 digits, add leading zeros until it becomes 10 digits
  • Then add a hyphen
  • Then add your 2‑digit Loan ID

Example:
Member number: 1234567
→ Pad to 10 digits: 0001234567
Loan ID: 00
Your Login ID: 0001234567‑00

We are updating how Home Improvement Loans are serviced to improve support, streamline operations, and ensure members have access to a dedicated team focused on Home Improvement loans. This change helps us continue delivering reliable service while investing in future improvements. 

Yes. Your Home Improvement Loan remains a DOCFCU loan. This change only affects how the loan is serviced and where certain information is displayed. 

No. Your interest rate, payment amount, due date, and loan terms are not changing because of this servicing update. 

Starting March 2: 

  • Your Home Improvement Loan will be serviced through our dedicated loan servicing team 
  • Full loan details, statements, and payment history will be available through a new online portal 
  • A dedicated support team will be available by phone 

Beginning March 2: 

You will see basic loan information, such as: 

  • Current balance 
  • Next payment due 
  • Payment posting updates 

You will still be able to make payments from your DOCFCU account 

  • You will not have access to transaction history or Statements 

You can view the following details in the new Home Improvement Loan portal: 

  • Statements 
  • Full payment history 
  • Loan details

Yes, beginning March 2, the loan portal will require a separate login. We recognize this is an inconvenience and appreciate your understanding in order to provide dedicated service for your loan. 

Automatic Payments and Transfers:

  •  If you’re currently enrolled in automatic payments or internal transfers, no action is needed. Your payments will continue without interruption. 

One-time Payments 

  • You may continue to make one-time payments through DOCFCU Online Banking. There may be a delay in processing your payment 
  • The preferred method is through the dedicated loan portal.

Yes. All automatic payments and internal transfers will continue uninterrupted. If any action is required, DOCFCU will contact you directly. 

Your first statement will be available in the loan portal after the March billing cycle. Timing may vary slightly during the transition. 

Starting March 2, our dedicated Home Improvement Loan Support team will be ready to assist. Our team will be ready to help with questions about payments, statements, and access.
