Live Well
Below your means

Hi Everyone,

Last month I wrote about going to the National League wildcard game and the excitement of the Nationals coming back to win in the late innings. Now, one month later the Nats have won the World Series. As I wrote those words tears came to my eyes, tears of joy. The Nats taught all of us never to give up and always do what you do with joy. As I watched game seven of the World Series unfold I couldn’t help but feel the same way I did at the wildcard game, a feeling of wondering what baseball we’ll talk about if the Nats lose. And what do you know? Here we are talking about the Nationals winning the World Series.

Please take the lesson of the Nationals to your heart. Never give up, especially on the finance side of your life. There will be bad hops in your life. You will strike out sometimes. But there will also be times when you hit it out of the park. Here at the credit union we’re here to help you get your financial line up straight. We have great rates on our certificates of deposit and a Performance Checking account that you can earn up to $610 a year on. And if you need help with your debt call us. We’d love to help you score some savings on your debt payments so that you can win the game and the series against your debt.

For now let’s congratulate the Nats for one final curly W this year, the one that means the very most.

Till Next Time,
Evan Clark, President and CEO
